Meet Miss Taylor Garms

Taylor Garms is the 17 year old daughter of David and Kris Garms. She is the third of the seven children the Lord has blessed David and Kris with. Taylor and her family live in Minnesota on eight acres along with an elderly man who lives in their home, and their one remaining cat, Daffy. Her parents homeschool the six children who are still at home. "Homeschooling is such a privilege!" says Taylor.
Taylor and her family love music. "Not a day goes by without music drifting through the house in some form. There is always singing going on, or music being played or listened to." They formed the group Great Adventure Gospel Band and have begun singing around East Central Minnesota. "There's nothing I'd rather do," comments Taylor about the family music ministry.
One of Taylor's most favorite interests is art. "I've been nicknamed 'the Doodler' by my younger sister as a result of my constant drawing," laughs Taylor. She loves graphite pencil drawing and sometimes can be found drawing with colored pencils or other mediums such as charcoal and watercolors. Taylor has entered numerous art contests and has placed well in several of them. The biggest of which was the Home School Legal Defense Association 2008 art contest. "What an honor it was to place second in this contest!" says Taylor. To view her artwork, scroll down.
